چکیده

This paper presents a unique modelling of harmonics and comparison between high irradiance and low irradiance in PV system connected to a grid. The signals used are actual tested waveforms in a distributed PV system. The percentage error has been calculated for the individual parameters in both cases. The comparative study using Chirp Z transform (CZT) with 7 term B Harris Window will enable to model harmonics using this algorithm in the future. The paper shows the performance of the method proposed in different measurement conditions. Index terms – Chirp Z transform, Harmonic Analysis, Power factor

Performance Analysis of Incremental Conductance MPPT with Simple Moving Voltage Average Method for Distributed PV System

Abstract: In order to harvest photovoltaic energy efficiently, several methods exist, yet most of them failed to address the issues related to extract the maximum power under rapidly changing solar irradiance conditions. In conventional incremental conductance, large step size reduces tracking time but oscillation remains around maximum power point (MPP). However, small step size reduces the os...

Maximum Power Point Tracker for Photovoltaic Systems Based on Moth-Flame Optimization Considering Partial Shading Conditions

The performance of photovoltaic (PV) systems is highly dependent on environmental conditions. Due to probable changes in environmental conditions, the real-time control of PV systems is essential for exploiting their maximum possible power. This paper proposes a new method to track the maximum power point of PV systems using the moth-flame optimization algorithm. In this method, the PV DC-DC co...

An Intelligent PV Panel Structure to Extract the Maximum Power in Mismatch Irradiance

a new intelligent photovoltaic (PV) panel structure to extract the maximum power in mismatch irradiance is proposed. In conventional structures, difference of irradiance between series panels can cause the deviation of maximum power point. In this condition tracking MPP becomes difficult and reduces efficiency. Improvements in power electronics and its effects in PV industrial technology, devel...
